The pulmonary medicine
(chest) department at SPS Apollo Hospitals offers comprehensive
approach to diagnosis and treatment of various respiratory
disorders. Team is led by qualified physician, provides outdoor,
indoor and emergency services
| Services |
- Identification & treatment of lung tuberculosis
at an early stage particularly in immunocompromised
hosts.
- Identification of airway diseases such as
Bronchial Asthma, COPD, their categorization and
appropriate control
- Identification of primary lung carcinoma and
metastatic lung carcinoma at early stages and their
management.
- Full work up for sleep related breathing
disorder including sleep apnoea.
- Comprehensive work up for intestinal lung
diseases including sarcodosis, idiopathic pulmonary
fibrosis, occupational lung diseases.
- Comprehensive work up for pleural diseases
ranging from pleural effusion, emphysema, malignant
effusion to mesothelioma.

physical examination.
- Complete imaging and lab facility
- Diagnostic pulmonary function test including
diffusion studies.
- Fiberoptic bronchoscopy lab providing facilities
of bronchial lavage, washing & various biopsies.
